Any person over 21 (DIFC) or 18 (ADGM/Dubai Courts) holding UAE assets. Open to residents and non-residents, Muslims and non-Muslims.

A DIFC Will covers all Dubai and global assets, administered by DIFC Courts (common law). A Dubai Court Will covers Dubai emirate assets only. DIFC is more comprehensive; Dubai Courts are faster and more affordable.
 
Astruc & Co. offers fixed-fee pricing: AED 6,500 (Dubai Court) and AED 12,000 (DIFC), inclusive of drafting, advisory, and registration. Government fees are separate.
 
Typically 2–4 weeks for DIFC/ADGM Wills, 1–2 weeks for Dubai Court Wills, from initial consultation to registered Will.
 

Your assets will be distributed according to UAE personal status law, which applies Shari’ah inheritance principles by default. This applies to non-Muslims as well. Assets may be frozen for an extended period.

Yes. A UAE Will is the primary legal instrument for appointing guardians for minor children. Without one, UAE courts decide guardianship.
 
Not necessarily. A DIFC Will can cover assets across Dubai and globally. For Abu Dhabi assets, an ADGM Will may be beneficial.
 
Generally not enforceable for UAE-based assets. UAE courts require a locally registered Will. We can align your UAE Will with your international estate plan.
 
Yes. The DIFC framework offers a Business Owner Will specifically for company shares, partnership interests, and succession of business assets.
